Research Information

GHK-Cu is the tripeptide glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine bound to copper(II). The GHK sequence occurs naturally in plasma and binds copper with high affinity, and it is that complex — not the bare peptide — that most of the published in-vitro work uses.

It appears in cell-culture studies on collagen and glycosaminoglycan synthesis, on metalloproteinase and antiprotease expression in fibroblasts, and in wound-model and angiogenesis assays. It is also used as a copper-delivery reference compound in trace-metal work.

Supplied as a lyophilised powder. Reconstitute with bacteriostatic water, keep refrigerated after reconstitution, and aliquot for longer storage.

Supplied strictly for in-vitro laboratory research. Not for human or veterinary use, and not for food, drug, cosmetic or diagnostic application.

For laboratory and research use only. Not intended for human or animal consumption. All product information is derived from published preclinical research and does not constitute medical advice or claims.
